This week’s topic is a bit lighter hearted. Today I am sharing TEN things I cannot live without. I think my life would actually crumble into pieces without these ten items. Of course, there is plenty more I can’t live without, such as friends and family, but I wanted to share the less obvious.
1. Black Leggings
If I’m ever freaking out about what to wear with that shirt, the answer is always my black leggings. They can dress an outfit up or down and they’re comfy.
I never go anywhere without my mints. You never know where you’re going to end up or with who…so just bring mints and thank me later.
I would die without music. I fall asleep, wake up to, get ready to, cook to, workout to music, eat while listening to music, clean, drive, relax…everything. I have a playlist for every mood.
4. Human Interaction
I’m actually a big people person (surprise, I know). I love hearing people’s stories. I want to know about everyone’s quirks, what makes them them, their future goals and aspirations, etc.
A splash of peppermint mocha, but not too much. Just keep em coming. How else does a girl get all her shit done?
I love photography. I either use my Canon Rebel SL1 50mm lens or my iPhone 8 camera which is actually quite good!
7. To-Do Lists
As one of the most forgetful people to walk the planet…I rely heavily on my to do lists. There is no better feeling than crossing everything off at the end of the day and seeing how much you accomplished.
Humans need at least 7 hours of sleep per night. If you’re under rested, your health and physical appearance will suffer! This is a proven fact. So make sure to plan your day so you get to bed on time!
7. My Skincare Line
Ask anyone. I am an absolute Nazi about taking my makeup off before bed. I swear by the Murad skincare products for Acne Control. It cleared my skin so quickly.
8. Boy Scented Anything
Mahogany Teakwood, Black Teakwood…enough said. Old Spice Deodorant, Armani cologne, Ralph Lauren Polo cologne…yes, please.
9. A sense of purpose
Honestly, I don’t really care how corny or cliche it sounds. I set an intention, or a purpose, at the start of my everyday. As soon as my alarm goes off, I have literally trained my brain to consider what I am grateful for in my life and then decide my intention/main purpose for the day. It gives me a good reason to get out of bed, get shit done and be in a positive mood all day!
10. A good laugh
I am entirely blessed with amazing friends and a privileged life. About 95% of the time, I am laughing about something, somewhere with someone. It might even be at myself. But I am thoroughly convinced that a good laugh can cure anything.
