I felt like my mother did an outstanding job of covering why you should be thankful during this season. So I took a different approach to this week’s blog. Let me know what you guys think!
During this season the phrases, “Give Thanks” “Thank you” and “Blessed” are tossed around like candy on Halloween. They quickly lose any real value they once contained. I encourage you to focus on what the season is truly about this year. Next time you use one of the typical holiday season phrases (such as the ones listed above, although I know there are many more), think about what you’re saying. Do you mean it? Do you really mean it?
I put together a short video on what Thanksgiving means to me. Family. Food. Freedom. And hot cocoa?
Tis’ the season! Enjoy the video (it’s no longer than 1 minute)
